Reed's Remember Grandpa Sneezing

Remember when your Grandfather used to sneeze?  You would be over at your Grandparents house and all of a sudden; the whole house would shake in concert with the loudest noise made by human vocal cords.  Your heart would skip a beat, your ‘fight or flight’ reflex would kick in - until a split second later you realized it was just Grandpa sneezing.

Growing up near my Grandparents offered some fond memories.  One I will always have is of my Grandpa sneezing.  Man could he sneeze.  It was so loud (say it with me ‘How loud was it?’) I swear the windows would rattle.  I didn’t dare take a nap due to worrying whether or not I would be bounced off their couch by the percussion of the sound waves generated in a fraction of a second and traveling at 775 mph!

Do you remember your Grandparents voice?  The way they laugh?  I do.  If they are still here on this earth with you, get a tape recorder out and record their voices and laughter, stories from their childhood, and what your parents were like when they were little.  Take advantage of that time.  Plus, you never know, you might even record your Grandpa sneezing!
